Finally Reworked

I am totally known for having a million projects going in mind and nothing really finished. This weekend I finally finished this lamp! I bought it before Gina was born at a thrift store for like 3 dollars. It was tarnished brass and missing one crystal, but I just knew I could rework it. So here it is like 6 years later (I also never throw anything out), and it is finally finished. I painted it ballet pink and tied lavender sheer polka dot ribbon to it. I also added a pink gingham lampshade I had in the basement.
This little shelf was a yard sale find, also before Gina was born (Thank God I had a girl)! It was missing the drawer pull when I purchased it and was a terrible shade of green. I seriously need to start taking before shots. This too got a coat of Ballet Pink and a drawer pull picked out by Gina at Lowes. (I really wanted to use a vintage glass one, but the princess won)
This is just a princessy dress up corner in Gina's new bedroom, it is still kind of a work in progress.

It's funny how a coat of paint can transform trash into treasures. Good for you for seeing beyond the tarnished lamp. All of it is lovely.

That lamp is awesome! Looks like something you'd see in a fancy-schmancy upscale boutique. Cute!

Love the little dressup corner. My dd would have gone mad for it when she was a kid! lol

The dresser is awesome, too, and the great thing about drawer pulls is they can be changed anytime!! :p
